Venice Day in Italy to screen ‘Alone’

Iranian film ‘Alone’ has made its way to the Venice Film Festival's independent section Giornate Degli Autori.

‘Alone’ by Jafar Najafi will take part in the festival’s independent event, also known as Venice Days. 

Earlier reports said Iranian feature ‘Without Her’, directed by Arian Vazirdaftari, will take part in the festival’s Horizons Extra category.

The line-up for the 2022 Venice Film Festival was announced by the festival’s president Roberto Cicutto and artistic director Alberto Barbera.

The 79th edition of Venice Film Festival in Italy will kick off on August 31 and run until September 10.
